What is the general process of a booking?

The most important information is:

We recommend that you book your move no later than three weeks before the move date in order to have the greatest possible availability of dates. Short-term bookings are of course still possible.

After we have received your booking, we will get back to you as soon as possible in order to check your entries again and to answer any questions.

How accurate must my information in the volume calculator be?

When entering your data, it is especially important that the address entered is correct. For example, if you enter the wrong floor or the wrong house number, unnecessary additional costs can arise, as this can result in additional work.

In the case of your removal goods, however, it is only important that you state all furniture and that the number of items you have taken with you (e.g. 6 chairs) is correct. Due to the many years of experience of our partners, we do not need precise measurements here. Small deviations in individual pieces of furniture hardly make a difference in price and are usually compensated for with other pieces of furniture.

If you are still unsure, or if you cannot find a piece of furniture in our list, you can create your “own piece of furniture” with exact dimensions and include it.

How is my volume calculated?

We have stored average values ​​in the form of cubic meters behind all pieces of furniture, for which we guarantee. The sum of the cubic meters results in your corresponding moving volume. In addition to the furniture to be transported, this also includes the moving boxes (0.1 Kbm) to be transported.

What must be stated?

All items that do not fit in a moving box and are to be transported must be specified. The necessary protective material, such as moving blankets, is already included in our price.

What is often forgotten?

Do not forget to include the items from your basement or garage if you want to take them with you. Objects such as washing machines, drying racks, vacuum cleaners, bicycles or plants are also important for us to know if they are to be transported.

When do I need a no-parking zone (HVZ)?

No parking zones are required if the truck cannot park undisturbed in front of your front door due to exits, or if it would have to park in the second row.

How accurate must the information on the moving boxes be?

We know that it is not easy to estimate the number of boxes required.

2. Single households usually need 30 boxes. Allow 20-25 boxes for each additional person. For each baby or toddler another 10 boxes extra.
3. You can change the number of boxes up to 5 days before your move. Your offer will be adjusted accordingly.

How do I know which furniture needs to be dismantled?

In principle, the following applies: All furniture that came into your apartment through the stairwell, we get out again. If larger pieces of furniture such as cupboards, shelves, beds or chests of drawers do not fit through the doors or through the stairs, they must be dismantled by us or by you.

When does my move start?

In 90% of the cases, the moves begin in the morning between 7:30 and 8:30 a.m. Smaller moves are occasionally pushed in in the afternoon. You will be contacted again at least 3 days before your move and you will be given the exact time.

How long will my move take?

The duration of the move depends on many factors such as the volume of the move, the desired service work, the floors, or the distance between the old and new address. Local transport moves (up to a maximum of 125 km between the old and new address) usually take place in one day. In the case of long-distance moves, loading takes place on one day and unloading on another day

How big is the truck?

The size of the truck mostly depends on the volume of the move. If it is a supplementary load, it is possible that larger trucks will come to you even with smaller removals.
